Let us assume having one main office and two subsidiaries, which are connected with each other by a SwiftMQ router network via the Internet. You wish to automate the distribution of software packages. Each subsidiary should have the same level as the main office. For this, install a directory within the main office which can be reached by the SwiftMQ router within the main office (Windows network drive, NFS or local directory). There, you install all software packages, allocated possibly to subdirectories.

First, deploy the Replicator Extension Swiftlet on the SwiftMQ router within the main office and define a replication source to supervise the new installed directory:

Within the subsidiaries install a directory which serves as a replication sink. This has to be accessible from the respective SwiftMQ router (Windows network drive, NFS or local directory).

The Replicator Extension Swiftlet also needs to be deployed on the SwiftMQ routers at the subsidiaries. Define a sink targeted with the just created directory:

First subsidiary:

Second subsidiary:

Therewith, the configuration is completed and the replication is active.
